Unbelievable that this would be sold as a useful map. It is rather small, and one side has a map of the whole UK, with *incredibly* little detail, and the other side has London. The UK side map is perhaps 15"x20", and when you realize that is for all of England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland, you realize that this thing can't have ANY detail...actually significantly WORSE than Google Maps on my big monitor!!!! The London side might be useful, although not for me, and not much better than the tourist maps you can find online anywhere.This is a TOTAL rip off, and you would be smart to not waste your money on this junk!

This is a terrible map of the UK! It is not detailed at all, with lots of blank spaces that could show places to visit but don't. I had to hand-write a lot of town names on the map. The London map on the reverse side is a little better, but free maps of London are available all over from tourist offices, so there's no reason to pay money for this one. The Rick Steves organization should be ashamed to be putting out such an inferior piece of merchandise. I wound up throwing it away. PS: regarding another product from the same organization: the Rick Steves toiletry bag that I bought ripped the third day I used it. I was constantly sewing it up during the trip.

Don't waste your money! This is very thin and cheaply made, much too generic! It's not really informattive at all, you would do better with a Visitors Center free map, or a Hotels map.. This is not a complete map--just a skeletal planning guide for the major sights Rick Steves thinks you ought to see. It does have driving times to those sights, but you will need a real map or sat nav to get to them.

I really like Rick Steves and he gives sound advice. I suppose this map would have been great if we hadn't been travelling so much by car... We drove from Manchester, England to the Scottish Highlands and this was just not detailed enough. The free map we got from the car rental agency was exactly what we needed. We also brought MultiMap.com printouts with detailed driving directions to each of our destinations. This is a good quality map and gives a great overview, but beware if you're driving.

This is my second Rick Steves map! I will be traveling to Brittain and Ireland this summer and love to follow the route my coach is going! It is a very durable product, made of a cloth-like paper so it holds up to much use! I will order more in the future and recommend this map!

I like the fabric coated type material used for making the map. The map is helpful for me as I plan our 2018 trip, along with Rick Steves book.

His travel things are always spot on. bought this because my husband is into ancient British history and wanted a contemporty map to help match up places on his ancient map of Britain.
